Kids
Ubeu Kids is a unique program that teaches good organizational habits right from the beginning. We teach kids how to manage their space, help them understand the freedoms and responsibilities of time, and show them that chores are just a part of the everyday activities they already enjoy.
Kids who learn to organize their space and manage their time do better in school, in their careers and in their lives. As we teach children to respect their belongings and take advantage of each day, we are also teaching them to take care of and respect themselves.
The lessons taught in the Ubeu Kids program give children a new perspective. We work with you to teach kids that their belongings have real value, and when they understand this value, they are a big step closer to becoming adults. Our programs show kids that time management is a series of compromises, and how to make decisions that will make them happier in the long run. Together, we enable kids to participate in the care of the home they share with us, and provide them with feelings of ownership and pride.
But all these lessons are useless without your involvement. A big part of the Ubeu Kids program is the time we spend educating parents. Before your kids can enjoy their program, you will go through the same material, enabling you to reinforce the new behaviors you want your kids to develop. We'll show you how to encourage your children. We'll give you the tools you need to work with them, and help you understand the best way for them to work with you. And we'll help you decrease the tension that arises from these issues and create more peace in your life.
Ubeu Kids programs are part of the Ubeu Family suite of services - they were developed as natural compliments for each other. For example, if you are trying to decrease the number of hours you spend transporting kids from one place to the other using the "Kid herding" program, going through the "What time is it now?" program at the same time provides a deep, fundamental connection with your children, showing them the value that you place on time management. We work with parents to establish family member responsibilities in the "All hands on deck" program, but when done in conjunction with "What can I do?", your deckhands will feel like part of the solution, instead of the cause of the problem.
Because your involvement is so critical, Ubeu Kids programs will only be done as part of a Ubeu Family project.
